Closing out the year with a release focused on the two things users asked for most: more control over how data is shaped in transit, and better answers when something goes wrong.
Custom field transformations
Field mappings can now apply transformations as data moves between systems. The built-in library covers the common cases — phone number normalization, name splitting and joining, date format conversion, case formatting, and value lookups for mapping picklist options between platforms.
Transformations are configured per field mapping and preview against your real data before you save, so you can see exactly what a value will look like on the other side.
Clearer error handling
Sync errors now carry the full context you need to act: the exact destination API response, the record payload we attempted, and a plain-language explanation of the most common causes. Record-level failures no longer halt the batch — the rest of the sync completes and failed records queue for review.
Performance improvements
Large syncs got faster. Batch writes and smarter request pacing roughly tripled throughput on big initial syncs against HubSpot and Salesforce, and incremental syncs now skip records whose mapped fields have not changed — saving API quota on both sides.
Quality of life
Plus a stack of smaller improvements based on your feedback:
- Mapping duplication — copy an existing mapping as a starting point
- Sync history filtering by status, object type, and date range
- Email notifications for connection-level failures
- Dark mode refinements across the dashboard
